  1. This method is normally used when the firmware file extension ends in .xml.zip
  2. The first thing to do to download mfastboot flash file to your PC.
  3. Install the Motorola device driver to your PC.
  4. Put the extracted mFastboot and the Motorola firmware files to the same folder.
  5. Power down your phone and reboot it to bootloader mode.
  6. You can use the code adb reboot-bootloader to boot your phone to the bootloader.
  7. Inside the mfastboot folder, open the adb file and input the command line below.
  8. If unable to launch, make sure you install adb drivers on your PC.

    mfastboot reboot
  10.  The system.img_sparsechunks line may differ in some firmware.
  11. Check the firmware folder for details.
  12. When you enter the last command, your phone will reboot.
  13. Make sure not to miss any line of the code, the first booting takes time.

  1. Download Motorola RSD Lite and extract it to your PC.
  2. Launch the software.
  3. Power down your phone and boot it to fastboot mode.
  4. Connect your Motorola phone using a USB cord.
  5. Once connected, your Motorola model will appear.
  6. Click the three-dot by filename to select the firmware you wish to install.
  7. Click Start to begin the installation.
  8. Wait for the installation to finish in some minutes.
  9. Enjoy the new firmware.

      A mi me pasa lo mismo con mi Motorola E5-Plus. Encuendo la wifi pero se queda buscando redes wifi y aunque hayan muchas no ve ninguna. A veces si funciona y encuentra alguna. se conecta, pero automáticamente se desconecta y de nuevo vuelve a dejar de funcionar la wifi. Lo mismo ocurre si creo un punto de acceso wifi, para compartir internet, se crea, pero ningún dispositivo lo ve.
      ¿Usted logró solucionar ese problema en su teléfono?

  2. Do not use this tutorial to flash your Moto device!!

    Q: What about A/B devices?? Should I flash my G6 plus with these commands? Do A/B devices have a recovery partition?? I think not!

    This is a kind of tutorial that should be deleted as soon as possible!!

          • Well that phone is dead and couldn’t be recovered 2 months after purchase but a very valuable lesson learnt from the experience, Do your due diligence about any phone before you flash. After so much time spent on research I realized I just did so many wrong things from following the tutorials on this site.

  5. My Motorola e5 Supra ( xt1924-6) too lost baseband and emei. Flashing of gpt, boot, system and all .img files failed. I need to restore baseband and imei. Any help or advice?
