How To Flash CPB Firmware File With YGDP Tool

This is a straightforward tutorial on how to use the YGDP Tool to flash any (.CPB) to any compatible smartphone.

Remember that flashing a stock ROM to your phone may wipe the internal memory, ensure to backup before proceeding.

This tutorial only works for Windows operating System.

How to use the YGDP Tool

  1. The first thing is to download the firmware you want to flash to your phone.
  2. If the extension of the firmware file is zip and not (.cpb), extract the file to get the main firmware.
  3. Download and install the Android USB driver to your PC.
  4. The next thing is to download the YGDP Tool and install the software to your PC.
  5. After installation, launch the tool or go to Windows Start, locate and launch the YGDP_Assembly.exe there.
  6. On setup, choose “Assembly” as user and 369 as the password and Login.
  7. Once in, click on “Config” and then “Please Select the CPB file” to locate the (.cpb) you extracted earlier and Apply.
  8. Next is to power off your phone and while off, connect it to the PC using a USB cable.
  9. Click on “Start” to initiate the flashing.
  10. The flashing takes few minutes to complete.
  11. Unplug your phone, reboot and enjoy.
